Sales Manager - Patient Support Systems

About the role

Baxter is looking for an experienced, commercially driven Sales Manager to lead the growth of its Patient Support Systems (PSS) business in Singapore. The role owns the commercial performance of the PSS portfolio through business planning, distributor management and market development, driving growth, market share and sales and profitability objectives. It also leads and coaches a Key Account Manager covering the Global Surgical Solutions (GSS) and Front Line Care (FLC) portfolios.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and run annual business plans and sales strategies, and lead pricing, promotion and commercial initiatives
• Manage strategic distributor partnerships, set KPIs, give commercial guidance and product training, and oversee sales, marketing and tender activities through channel partners
• Build relationships with key hospital accounts, support project planning and equipment specifications, and lead tenders, quotations and proposals
• Provide product, clinical and technical expertise, run demonstrations, in-service training and educational programmes, and support new product launches
• Prepare sales forecasts, monitor performance and collaborate with Marketing, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Finance and regional teams

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum 8-10 years of commercial experience in medical devices, healthcare or related fields
• Proven track record of sales growth and commercial results
• Strong distributor management experience in the Singapore healthcare market
• Experience in hospital capital equipment, operating room solutions or surgical products preferred
• Fluent spoken and written English; willingness to travel domestically and internationally
