Sales Manager, South Asia

About the role

Arrow Electronics is looking for a Sales Manager covering the South Asia region, based in Singapore. The role leads a sales team toward maximum profitability and growth, representing the team internally and externally and ensuring it exceeds expectations from both vendor and customer perspectives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage sales teams' strategic and sales objectives, go on field sales account calls and supplier reviews, and coach, train and develop managers and employees.
• Recruit, hire and train staff, handle performance reviews, salary administration, goal setting and development planning.
• Forecast opportunities and drive teams to manage sales, and implement supply chain, engineering, supplier or service excellence strategies to capture value-added sales.
• Maintain senior-level relationships with customers, suppliers and Arrow corporate, strengthen Arrow's reputation through service excellence, and increase management presence at customer accounts.
• Take on assigned projects and corporate initiatives, using data analysis and past experience to guide strategy.
• Manage a team of professional employees and/or supervisors, or supervise large, complex technical or business support operations.

Required profile

• Typically a minimum of 8 years of related experience.
• A 4-year degree.
• Accountable for the performance and results of a team, able to adapt departmental plans to resource and operational challenges.
