Senior Accountant – Finance & Tax Specialist

About the role

Reporting to the Senior Financial Controller, the Senior Accountant will manage the full accounting spectrum for Singapore entities and lead all tax filing activities, including GST and withholding taxes. The role is pivotal in supporting technical accounting and tax research across existing and new business territories.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee Accounts Receivable, ensure timely and accurate billing, and support collections.
• Manage GST, withholding tax, and other tax compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with the Senior Financial Controller to ensure adherence to accounting standards, group policies, and internal controls.
• Monitor revenue recognition, reconcile revenue against contracts and sub‑ledger reports.
• Prepare weekly cash flow reports, perform bank reconciliations, and coordinate intercompany settlements.
• Lead month‑end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and foreign currency revaluation.
• Liaise with external tax agents and support corporate income tax filings.
• Assist audit processes by preparing schedules and draft financial statements.
• Identify and implement improvements to financial controls and reporting automation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Professional certification (CPA) required.
• 8‑10 years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
