Senior Airport Services Agent (Singapore)

About the role

The Senior Airport Services Agent ensures high‑quality service for Emirates passengers at check‑in, boarding, baggage and lounge areas in Singapore, while complying with commercial, safety and security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage check‑in, transfer desk, special services and boarding gates, prioritising premium customers and adhering to service standards.
• Oversee baggage handling, ensuring priority bags are delivered first and assisting with missing or damaged baggage for premium travellers.
• Coordinate with the Emirates chauffeur service to provide eligible customers with pick‑up and drop‑off assistance.
• Handle excess baggage, visa issues and communicate delays, disruptions or denied‑boarding options to passengers.
• Prepare and reconcile flight coupons, head‑counts and post‑flight documentation to support on‑time departures.
• Cover check‑in supervisor duties, brief staff and ensure all operational areas are adequately staffed.
• Support ticket desk functions, issue tickets, EMD/EBT, amend reservations and process payments.
• Liaise with contracted service providers to supervise catering, cleaning and maintenance in the Emirates lounge.

Required profile

• Minimum O‑Level or equivalent with recognised training in Customer Services, Ground Operations and Reservations.
• At least 3 years of airline industry experience, preferably in ground handling or check‑in operations.
• Fluent spoken and written English and the local language.
• Legal right to live and work in Singapore.
• Strong knowledge of departure control and reservation systems, check‑in procedures and safety standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a Departure Control System.
• Experience using a Computerised Reservation System.
• Competent use of Microsoft Office applications.
