Senior Analog Design Engineer

About the role

Silicon Labs, a leader in low-power wireless connectivity, is hiring a Senior Analog Design Engineer. The role covers detailed design of analog, mixed-signal and RF circuits, from prototype IC design through to mass-production support.

Key responsibilities

• Detailed design of analog/mixed-signal/RF circuits, including design capture, layout, test, evaluation and debugging of prototype ICs, and support for mass production.
• Perform analog/mixed-signal architecture, design and layout, and simulation for block-level specifications.
• Support RF design and layout, and simulation for block-level specifications.
• Carry out lab testing, characterization and troubleshooting.
• Develop innovative designs for patenting or protection as trade secrets.
• Guide layout designers on sensitive custom layouts.
• Support product definition, test-program development and manufacturing, production and customer needs.
• Share knowledge technically and work as a team member with internal and external partners.

Required profile

• PhD, Master's or Bachelor's degree in microelectronics or electronics engineering.
• Experience in CMOS analog/mixed-signal designs such as BG, LDO, ADC, DAC, PLL, OSC, TX or RX.
• Knowledge of ESD and latch-up.
• Excellent written and verbal presentation skills.
