Senior Assistant Manager – M&E Facilities Management

About the role

NTU, a world‑class research university in Singapore, is looking for an experienced Senior Assistant Manager to lead the operation and maintenance of mechanical and electrical (M&E) services across its campus. The role involves overseeing existing systems, managing contractors, and driving upgrade projects to ensure reliability and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee operation and maintenance of fire protection, plumbing, sanitary & gas, lift and ELV systems.
• Monitor preventive and corrective works performed by term contractors and ensure compliance with contracts and safety standards.
• Review maintenance reports and breakdown trends to identify recurring issues and recommend improvements.
• Manage asset tracking, lifecycle information and upgrading projects to enhance system performance.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders, consultants and contractors during project implementation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Facilities Management.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities management or M&E services.
• Strong technical understanding of building services, fault diagnosis and system optimisation.
• Hands‑on experience supervising contractors and ensuring statutory compliance.
• Effective communication, problem‑solving and project management skills.
