Senior Audit Associate – Financial Services (Singapore)

About the role

KPMG is seeking a Senior Audit Associate to join its Financial Services audit team in Singapore. You will work closely with clients to understand their business, perform audit procedures, and deliver high‑quality audit evidence and conclusions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with audit teams to gain an in‑depth understanding of client operations and risk environments.
• Execute audit plans, prepare detailed work papers, and document audit findings.
• Assess the sufficiency of audit evidence and ensure conclusions are clearly presented.
• Maintain awareness of regulatory and reporting standards applicable to financial services.

Required profile

• Recognised degree in Accountancy and a professional qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CPA Australia or equivalent.
• 1‑3 years of experience auditing listed financial‑services clients.
• Strong understanding of business and risk management issues within the financial sector.
• Familiarity with relevant regulatory and reporting standards.
• Excellent communication, analytical abilities and business acumen.

Required skills

• Good working knowledge of IFRS.
