Senior Business Analyst – Private Banking & Tax Regulatory

About the role

The Senior Business Analyst will support private banking operations by leading tax‑regulatory reporting initiatives across Europe and Asia. You will work with large, distributed IT teams to design, specify and deliver functional and technical solutions that meet complex regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and document functional and technical specifications for tax‑regulatory projects such as German tax reporting, AEOI/CRS, FATCA and IRS 871m.
• Collaborate with business users, IT developers and external auditors to ensure accurate data extraction, transformation and reporting.
• Coordinate test activities including SIT, non‑regression and UAT, and manage issue resolution.
• Maintain and enhance banking systems (e.g., Olympic, TRANSACT, AAA) and reporting tools (e.g., EasyTax, FiTax, SECTRAS).
• Provide regular status updates and presentations to stakeholders in a multicultural environment.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in banking IT, preferably private banking.
• 5+ years focused on regulatory topics and tax reporting.
• Strong knowledge of private banking products, operations and related banking systems.
• Proven ability to work with distributed teams and manage complex project lifecycles.
• Excellent analytical skills with a focus on root‑cause investigation.
