Senior Compliance Specialist (12-month contract)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Compliance Specialist to join our Compliance team in Singapore. You will help ensure the organisation meets all relevant laws, regulations and internal policies while fostering a strong compliance culture.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain an effective compliance framework, policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular risk assessments, assurance activities and remediate non‑compliance.
• Monitor regulatory developments, assess impact and coordinate required changes.
• Oversee sanctions screening, risk‑based monitoring and framework enhancements.
• Provide compliance advice, training and support to employees.
• Prepare and submit regulatory reports and act as liaison with authorities.
• Manage compliance‑related projects from inception to completion.
• Drive innovation and automation in compliance processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of compliance experience in insurance or corporate environment.
• Strong knowledge of local laws, regulations and industry standards.
• Experience developing and implementing compliance programs.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Highly self‑motivated with strong accountability and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Proficiency with compliance management software and tools.
• Familiarity with digital technologies applied to compliance processes.
