Senior Corporate Accountant

About the role

The Senior Corporate Accountant will lead the preparation and delivery of key financial reports for the Group and its entities, ensuring strict compliance with IFRS and internal accounting policies. This role partners closely with internal stakeholders and external auditors to maintain robust financial controls and support strategic finance initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver periodic financial reports, including month‑end closing, quarterly reports, year‑end audit schedules and other required statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS and Group accounting policies.
• Coordinate and support internal and external audit activities to ensure timely completion and adherence to statutory and corporate requirements.
• Manage financial audit processes, track findings, follow up on resolutions and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Develop, review, and document business processes and Corporate Finance policies to strengthen internal controls.
• Provide technical accounting guidance and professional advice to internal stakeholders in line with business needs.
• Liaise with internal and external parties on general accounting, financial reporting, statutory requirements and audit compliance matters.
• Support ad‑hoc projects and perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification such as CA, CPA or CIMA preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in accounting, audit or financial reporting.
• Experience in a Big 4 audit firm or multinational corporate environment is an advantage.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to partner effectively with business stakeholders.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
