Senior Financial Analyst II - Assembly & Test

About the role

Micron is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join its Assembly & Test team and help drive the strategic decisions behind its global network. You will influence critical investments, manufacturing strategies and technology roadmaps that support the production of advanced memory and storage solutions, turning complex manufacturing and financial challenges into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex conventional and advanced packaging scenario studies and financial analyses for the Assembly & Test manufacturing network.
• Partner with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain and Finance leadership to evaluate business scenarios and give data-driven recommendations.
• Develop cost models and financial analyses supporting cost competitiveness, capacity planning, manufacturing network optimization and technology transitions.
• Manage growing volumes of scenario requests by improving analytical processes, standardizing study methods and delivering high-quality outputs on time.
• Use advanced analytics and AI-enabled tools to automate workflows, shorten turnaround time and improve the quality and consistency of cost studies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Data Analytics or a related discipline.
• At least 8 years of relevant experience in semiconductor manufacturing finance, including financial modeling, product cost modeling and manufacturing cost analysis.
• Deep understanding of semiconductor back-end manufacturing (post-probe, assembly and test), cost drivers, cost structures and yield drivers.
• Experience in competitor cost benchmarking and familiarity with semiconductor industry best practices.
• Ability to analyze complex manufacturing data, quantify financial impacts and turn technical insights into business recommendations.
• Strong problem-solving, critical thinking and stakeholder management skills, with proven ability to influence cross-functional decisions.
