Senior Learning Strategist – Centre for Innovation in Learning

About the role

The National Institute of Education (NIE) is seeking a Senior Learning Strategist to join the Centre for Innovation in Learning. Reporting to the Learning Strategist Manager, you will partner with faculty to design and deliver cutting‑edge blended learning experiences and guide the adoption of innovative digital teaching practices across NIE.

Key responsibilities

• Research adult learning theories, strategies, data and educational technology tools to create impactful face‑to‑face and online workshops.
• Assess learning needs of IN‑Learning specialists and develop initiatives that build expertise in learning design and emerging technology.
• Collaborate with faculty to identify course learning needs, propose revised outcomes, tech‑enabled teaching strategies and assessments, and ensure constructive alignment.
• Analyse qualitative and quantitative data to determine faculty capability development needs and design learner‑centered blended experiences.
• Present evidence‑based design solutions to stakeholders and contribute to continuous improvement of teaching practice.

Required profile

• Strong background in adult education, training or higher‑education pedagogy.
• Proven experience in facilitation and curriculum redesign.
• Ability to stay current with best practices in higher education and educational technology.
• Excellent research, analytical and communication skills.
