Senior Manager / Assistant Director - Office of SingHealth Academy (Contract)

About the role

SingHealth Group Education is looking for a Senior Manager / Assistant Director on a contract basis to lead its education communications team. The role drives integrated communications strategies for SingHealth Academy and its entities, positioning them as leaders in medical education across the Colleges, the SingHealth Duke-NUS Institute of Medical Simulation and the Academic Medicine Education Institute. It also covers major events such as the SingHealth Duke-NUS Scientific Congress and Education Conference.

Key responsibilities

• Develop integrated communications plans that elevate the SingHealth Academy brand, aligned with Group Communications directives
• Create content across multiple platforms and manage copywriting for speeches and collaterals
• Oversee website and social media strategies
• Orchestrate publicity for signature Academic Medical Centre events
• Act as central coordinator for cluster-level education communications and give strategic advice to stakeholders
• Manage team performance and development, lead staff engagement initiatives and oversee budget planning and resource allocation

Required profile

• Degree with a minimum of 8 years in corporate or marketing communications
• Experience leading teams and engaging stakeholders
• Experience setting policies and processes
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated writing flair
• Excellent graphic design sense
• Strategic thinking with proven planning and execution abilities
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and multitasking ability
• Good negotiation skills and ability to communicate at all organisational levels
• Team player who can work independently, with an energetic, self-driven and meticulous approach
