Senior Manager – Commercial Insurance Policy Administration

About the role

HL Assurance is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Commercial Insurance Policy Administration function. Reporting directly to the Head of Operation and Technology, you will enhance process efficiency and supervise a dedicated team of Policy Admin Officers.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and review company policies and standard procedures to improve efficiency.
• Manage and supervise a team of Policy Admin Officers, ensuring smooth daily operations of the department.
• Handle new business, renewals and endorsements for Personal and Commercial Lines within stipulated turnaround times.
• Provide training and guidance to junior staff to improve accuracy and quality of work output.
• Prepare monthly management reports and gather materials for quarterly board presentations.

Required profile

• Minimum Diploma in Business Studies/Administration or related discipline (GI certificates advantageous).
• At least 6 years of policy processing experience, preferably in the direct general insurance industry.
• Dynamic, energetic and self‑motivated with strong teamwork, leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
