Senior Occupational Therapist – Nursing Home (Chai Chee)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Occupational Therapist to join a community healthcare provider supporting seniors in a nursing home setting in Chai Chee. You will help residents regain independence and improve quality of life after illness or surgery.

Key responsibilities

• Assess physical, cognitive, psychosocial and occupational needs and develop evidence‑based intervention plans.
• Facilitate meaningful participation in daily activities within the living environment.
• Provide training and education for caregivers and family members.
• Prescribe mobility aids and assistive devices, including personalized motorised equipment.
• Conduct home environment assessments and recommend safety modifications.
• Contribute to quality‑improvement projects, clinical research and cross‑functional initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols and institutional standards.

Required profile

• Recognised degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative team.
• Strong interpersonal communication and problem‑solving skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Google Suite applications.
