Senior Pharmacist – Hospital Pharmacy

About the role

The Eastern General Hospital Planning Office is seeking an experienced pharmacist to join its newly forming pharmacy team. This senior‑level position will work within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment to ensure safe, effective, and cost‑efficient medication use for patients across emergency, inpatient, and outpatient services.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver pharmaceutical care and drug information services to patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
• Identify, resolve, and prevent drug‑related problems to improve patient outcomes.
• Educate patients, caregivers, pharmacy students, and clinical staff on medication use.
• Participate in quality‑improvement and evidence‑based practice initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure continuity of care.
• Contribute to the growth and development of the hospital pharmacy through relevant activities.

Required profile

• Degree in Pharmacy recognised by the Singapore Pharmacy Council.
• Fully registered with the Singapore Pharmacy Council and hold a current practising certificate.
• Relevant experience in hospital pharmacy practice, appropriate to the senior grade.
• Strong clinical knowledge and effective communication abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
