Senior Pharmacist – Hospital Pharmacy Management

About the role

JurongHealth Campus is seeking an experienced Senior Pharmacist to lead medication management within its hospital pharmacy. The role focuses on ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant dispensing of medicines while supporting the professional development of pharmacy staff.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain efficient, zero‑wastage medication management aligned with best professional practices.
• Review medication orders for appropriateness, intervene with prescribers, and ensure timely dispensing.
• Oversee correct packing of patient medications and meet target turnaround times.
• Account for medication‑related costs and revenue, ensuring accurate recovery.
• Assign, supervise, and evaluate the work of subordinate pharmacy staff.
• Ensure all prescription, sales, supply, storage, and distribution activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Deliver lectures and continuing education to pharmacy and hospital personnel.
• Provide feedback to shape the department’s ongoing education agenda.

Required profile

• Degree in Pharmacy accredited by the Singapore Pharmacy Council.
• Registered Pharmacist with the Singapore Pharmacy Council or eligible for Pre‑Reg registration.
• Minimum 4 years of hospital pharmacy experience, or 3 years with a relevant postgraduate degree.
