Senior Service Engineer – Semiconductor Equipment

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Service Engineer to lead technical service support for semiconductor equipment at customer sites in Singapore. The role involves installing, commissioning, and maintaining advanced production tools while providing pre‑ and post‑sales support.

Key responsibilities

• Set‑up, install, buy‑off and commission new semiconductor equipment at customer locations.
• Provide pre‑ and post‑sales technical support, including equipment upgrades, change‑kits and new design modules.
• Troubleshoot process‑related problems, identify root causes and ensure timely resolution of field issues.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing on design, quality and performance matters.
• Prepare technical reports and feedback to evaluate machine performance.
• Manage service costs during warranty and post‑warranty periods.
• Deliver technical training to customers on equipment set‑up, operation and maintenance.
• Maintain service documentation and update customer feedback systems.
• Produce regular field service reports and gather market intelligence for sales teams.
• Identify revenue opportunities such as spare‑part sales and preventive maintenance contracts.

Required profile

• Higher NITEC / ITC or Diploma in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience servicing automated or production equipment.
• Strong computer literacy.
• Excellent customer orientation.
• Willingness to travel overseas on short notice.
