Senior Specialist, Marketing Operations - APAC

About the role

The Walt Disney Company is hiring a Senior Specialist, Marketing Operations for its APAC Marketing team in Singapore. You will use deep knowledge of end-to-end messaging channels to support marketer strategies, owning the solution from design and build to deployment and its impact. The role drives user engagement improvements by tuning messaging to specific customer cohorts, with a rigorous quality assurance approach and peer feedback.

Key responsibilities

• Engage marketers in refinement sessions to clarify strategy requirements and finalise intake.
• Design custom or experimental solutions to marketer requirements and gain their acceptance.
• Build the messaging solution and run self-quality assurance testing.
• Conduct marketer user acceptance testing (UAT) for custom solutions.
• Run peer-review quality assurance for Marketing Operations colleagues so solutions are deployment-ready.
• Monitor deployments briefly to spot and fix potential bugs.
• Use business intelligence reporting or analytical queries to measure solution impact and feed insights back into refinement and team reporting.

Required profile

• 3+ years of work experience in marketing operations, analytics or equivalent applied roles.
• 1+ year of experience in agile teams.
• Undergraduate degree in technology or business with a quantitative focus; equivalent experience applies.
• On-call availability during business-critical launches.
• English verbal and writing proficiency; multiple languages preferred.

Required skills

• Applied coding of template scripting languages such as Liquid and Handlebars.
• Working knowledge of messaging best practices (email, push, in-app, SMS).
• Experience running experiments to minimise bias in experimental design.
• Preferred: active certifications in Braze, Adobe Experience Manager and Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and working knowledge of SQL.
