Senior Specialist, Solutions Partner

About the role

PayPal is hiring a Senior Specialist, Solutions Partner in Central Singapore. The role sits within the Global Management Services organization's team of Solution Engineers, who give sales and enablement support for products including Venmo, PayPal and Braintree. It supports the Risk as a Service organization, which builds and maintains fraud prevention and dispute management solutions, and involves direct interaction with merchants and internal sales, technical support and enablement teams.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with prospects to answer technical product questions and guide them
• Work with the Product Team to gather and refine requirements for new features
• Use collateral materials to communicate and educate clients
• Execute RFPs, Statements of Works and proposals
• Present competitive analysis to internal teams and suggest improvements
• Act as the main technical point of contact for clients and set up test accounts
• Support the sales cycle for risk products; if contracted, handle implementation, configuration and training for the merchant

Required profile

• 3+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Strong communication skills to work with merchant executives and technical teams
• Self-motivated, with good time management, and willing to write blogs and technical papers, train sales teams and hold direct conversations with merchants about improving fraud policies
• Flexible, able to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced organization

Required skills

• Ability to use operational systems such as Salesforce, Jira, Slack and Microsoft products
• Preferred: experience in eCommerce-based fraud management or similar payments-related fraud, and understanding of the payment processing model and how merchants interact with card issuers through a processor such as PayPal
