Senior Supervisor – Media Test Maintenance

About the role

As a Senior Supervisor for Media Test Maintenance you will lead a team responsible for the reliability of production test equipment and automation systems that support high‑volume recording media manufacturing. You will work closely with production, process engineering, automation and equipment engineering to ensure stable, efficient operations and to drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of maintenance professionals to meet equipment uptime, yield, safety and productivity targets.
• Plan and execute preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance programmes for test equipment, robotic handlers and automation lines.
• Support installation, calibration, qualification and ongoing maintenance of test equipment and automation systems.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to troubleshoot equipment failures, resolve production disruptions and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
• Drive continuous‑improvement projects focused on downtime reduction, cost optimisation and yield enhancement.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, LOTO and company safety standards, and support audits and risk assessments.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or related field.
• 3–8 years of experience in manufacturing equipment maintenance, test equipment support or high‑volume production environments.
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving and analytical abilities with a hands‑on approach.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, clean‑room environment.
• Commitment to safety, compliance and operational excellence.
