Senior Tax Manager – Singapore

About the role

Surbana Jurong is seeking a Senior Tax Manager to lead tax compliance and advisory activities across Singapore and the broader SEA region. The role will ensure the Group’s tax governance framework is applied consistently while supporting strategic projects and transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with the Group’s tax governance framework and internal controls.
• Prepare and file corporate income tax, GST, withholding tax, Pillar 2 and other returns on time.
• Coordinate tax audits, disputes and inquiries with authorities and external advisors.
• Lead Singapore GST health checks and provide GST advisory support.
• Manage external advisors for BEPS implementation and ensure timely calculations and filings.
• Partner with business units on tax aspects of ETR planning, restructurings, acquisitions, investments and funding.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of Singapore corporate tax and GST experience, preferably in‑house.
• Experience in Big 4 accounting firms is a plus.
• Degree in Accounting/Tax and an Accredited Tax Professional qualification (Income Tax or GST).
• Strong collaboration, leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure with high attention to detail.
