About the role

NHG is looking for a Senior/Retail Assistant to provide quality customer service and support the retail supervisor in keeping the retail pharmacy running smoothly. The role also covers inventory management and accurate record keeping.

Key responsibilities

Carry out the daily operations of the pharmacy and provide quality customer service
Operate the cash register and handle cash
Manage stock inventory, inspect stock conditions and ensure proper merchandising
Handle goods receipts, inter-branch transfers and error reports
Maintain records of daily sales and customer counts
Maintain pharmacy equipment and ensure good housekeeping
Keep stocks, premises and stored information secure
Ensure computer systems are ready to serve patients at the start of the day
Assist supervisors with administrative matters and in orienting new staff

Required profile

GCE N or O level
At least 2 years of pharmacy retail experience
Customer-oriented, dynamic and committed, with hands-on experience in a retail store environment
