Service Engineer – Semiconductor Equipment

About the role

The Service Engineer will provide on‑site technical support for semiconductor equipment, handling customer enquiries, complaints, and ensuring smooth operation of installed systems. This role involves both pre‑sales and post‑sales activities, including installation, troubleshooting, and training.

Key responsibilities

• Attend to customer enquiries and complaints, including on‑site visits.
• Recommend preventive measures and deliver prompt resolutions to technical problems.
• Set up, install, and troubleshoot semiconductor equipment at customer sites.
• Provide pre‑sales and post‑sales technical support for service and equipment upgrades.
• Conduct technical training for customers on equipment setup, operation, and maintenance.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.

Required profile

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a semiconductor and cleanroom environment.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to work long hours in a cleanroom and travel on short notice.
• Team player with the capability to lead and multitask.
