Solution Architect – IT Storage

About the role

Huawei is seeking a Solution Architect specialized in IT Storage to provide technical expertise, solution design, and pre‑sales support for enterprise customers and partners in Singapore. You will work closely with the sales team to understand customer requirements, propose tailored storage and data‑management solutions, and drive projects to successful closure.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with Enterprise Account Managers to identify, develop and close mid‑ and large‑enterprise opportunities in Singapore.
• Provide consultation and guidance for infrastructure refresh projects, focusing on backup, storage, server and disaster‑recovery solutions.
• Deliver pre‑sales support including IT infrastructure and network architecture design, Bill‑of‑Materials configuration, pricing, and customized technical proposals.
• Present Huawei solutions to prospects and customers through individual and seminar sessions, and conduct quarterly training for end users and channel partners.
• Manage tender processes, respond to requests for clarification, and produce formal business proposals.
• Promote Huawei’s full portfolio of hardware and software to enterprise and government customers.
• Coordinate with Product & Solution teams to ensure customer requirements are feasible and deliverable.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Telecommunications, Electronics, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in an IT technical pre‑sales role, with strong knowledge of industry trends and partner solutions.
• Proven ability to manage tender requests and deliver consultative solution selling.
• Excellent project management and business development capabilities.
