Staff Nurse – Hemodialysis

About the role

The Staff Nurse will provide comprehensive patient care within a haemodialysis clinical setting. This role involves assessing patients before, during, and after dialysis, ensuring safe and effective treatment, and supporting patients in managing their condition.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct clinical assessments pre‑, intra‑, and post‑dialysis to evaluate treatment effectiveness.
• Review blood test results and report abnormalities to the Medical Director.
• Educate patients on diet, fluid intake, medication, and blood pressure management.
• Motivate patients to adapt to chronic haemodialysis (CHD) and monitor their progress.
• Operate and monitor the dialysis water treatment system to guarantee safe therapy delivery.
• Maintain clean, safe equipment and report any defects promptly.
• Accurately document patient information in medical records and the Therapy Data Management System (TDMS)/EuClid Clinical Information system.
• Participate in quality improvement by reporting incidents, hazards, and improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with experience in renal or dialysis care.
• Commitment to professional development and completion of annual clinical competency assessments.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy policies.
• Professional demeanor, appropriate dress code, and effective communication with patients, families, and staff.

Required skills

• Therapy Data Management System (TDMS) proficiency.
• EuClid Clinical Information system usage.
• Operation of dialysis water treatment and fluid monitoring equipment.
