Staff Nurse / Senior Staff Nurse – Infection Control

About the role

Join a multidisciplinary healthcare team at Tan Tock Seng Hospital, providing expert consultation, education, and guidance on infection prevention and control. You will play a pivotal role in safeguarding patient safety by monitoring infection trends and ensuring compliance with national standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consultation and education to hospital staff on infection control policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Conduct surveillance of healthcare‑associated infections, analyse data and produce regular reports.
• Monitor infection trends, investigate outbreaks or incidents, and recommend corrective actions.
• Implement, review, and evaluate infection control policies and procedures.
• Support clinical departments in maintaining compliance with infection prevention standards.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to improve patient safety and infection control outcomes.
• Participate in audits, quality‑improvement initiatives, and staff training programmes.

Required profile

• State‑registered Nurse with 3–4 years of clinical experience.
• Experience as an Infection Control Link Nurse is an added advantage.
• Highly motivated, proactive and able to work effectively in a fast‑paced hospital environment.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills.
