Store Assistant – Retail Sales & Customer Service

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Store Assistant to join our Woodlands store. You will help customers find products, support sales targets and maintain an attractive retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers with product selection and complete sales transactions using the cash register and POS system.
• Restock shelves, receive shipments and verify product quality and quantity.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and keep the store tidy and secure.
• Support store recruiting goals and participate in staff training and new‑hire inductions.
• Monitor sales data, help set individual and store targets and propose action plans.
• Enforce health, safety and security procedures.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Proven retail sales experience, preferably in specialty or outdoor retail.
• Ability to stand for long periods and work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Strong organizational, communication and customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.

Required skills

• POS software operation.
• Use of labeling and pricing equipment.
• Cash register handling.
