Strategy and Business Excellence Internship, Singapore

About the role

GSK's Strategy and Business Excellence (SBX) Business Area is offering an internship in Singapore from January to June 2027. It is aimed at undergraduate students enrolled at a Singapore university who want real-world work experience on live projects or assignments, learning from the team and developing skills for their future.

Key responsibilities

• Identify data reporting opportunities in existing databases and develop or enhance dashboards and reports
• Analyse the pharma and vaccines business, external performance, competitors and product trends to generate insights for specific therapy areas, brands or markets
• Analyse sales force performance KPIs and work with stakeholders to provide the required data
• Support the building and maintenance of accurate reports and databases
• Assist in preparing regular and ad hoc reports and presentations
• Run desktop research on assigned projects, collecting data from various sources

Required profile

• Undergraduate student studying a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Science with a focus on Business Analytics and Statistics
• Enrolled at a Singapore university during the internship and doing a credit-bearing internship
• Fluent written and spoken English
• Expected start date January to June 2027; applications are reviewed on a rolling basis

Required skills

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Knowledge of Power BI, IT and software systems, document management and database systems is an added advantage
