Supply Chain Management & Logistics Specialist

About the role

As a Supply Chain Management & Logistics Specialist at Siemens Smart Infrastructure – Buildings, you will be the operational backbone for project logistics in Singapore. You will work closely with project teams, suppliers and logistics service providers to ensure materials are delivered accurately, safely and on schedule, even when conditions change.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate end‑to‑end logistics activities across suppliers, forwarders and sites to guarantee reliable and punctual delivery.
• Maintain and update logistics‑relevant master data such as delivery schedules, stock levels and order status in SAP.
• Assess operational status continuously and develop alternative logistics concepts to address site changes, transport disruptions or supply constraints.
• Prepare and communicate clear status, milestone and shortage reports for timely project decisions.
• Lead documentation and processing of transport damages, claims and complaints in collaboration with insurance, quality and engineering teams.
• Manage site demobilisation, ensuring cost‑efficient return of equipment, containers and logistics infrastructure.
• Support logistics risk assessments, calculate mitigation measures and contribute to contingency planning.
• Provide logistics expertise for supplier evaluations and tender preparation.
• Identify inefficiencies, standardise workflows and drive automation to improve supply‑chain performance.

Required profile

• Experienced logistics professional with a strong track record in project environments.
• Proactive ownership, analytical mindset and ability to anticipate and mitigate risks.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external partners.
