System Interaction Engineer (2-Year Renewable Contract)

About the role

HP is hiring a System Interaction Engineer in Singapore for a 2-year renewable contract. The engineer applies intermediate-level subject matter knowledge to solve common business issues, works on problems of moderate complexity and acts as an informed team member who exercises independent judgment within defined practices and procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the R&D, NPI and Manufacturing teams for the Supplies and Printer organizations to deliver program deliverables.
• Carry out system interaction testing and development so that new programs meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Work with the Brand Authentication team to deliver security solutions for all programs.
• Collaborate with the Supplies Quality team to improve product quality and address top customer concerns.
• Deliver on post-MR NPI metrics before handing responsibility to the Supplies Manufacturing team.
• Drive continuous improvement of the test methodology by refining and updating tests to reflect real-world use conditions.
• Leverage AI, automation, data analytics and repeatable test frameworks to improve test coverage, execution efficiency, issue detection and program learning reuse.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Typically 2-4 years of experience.
• Good understanding of thermal inkjet technology and the product development / technology development process.
• Strong technical engineering leadership, planning, execution and issue-resolution capabilities.
• Ability to apply AI, automation, scripting or data-driven approaches to streamline test methodology.
• Quick learner with strong analytical skills, curiosity and a growth mindset.
• Good communication, teamwork and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
