Technician III – Chemical Production Operations

As a Technician III in the Chemical Production Department, you will be responsible for routine and non‑routine processes of chemical formulations such as lens materials, PAA supply tank, Phosphate Buffer Solution and Saline at our Tuas plant.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and non‑routine processes in chemical production operations.
• Manage and maintain calibration, documentation, inventory (cycle count), maintenance and compliance for chemical production.
• Maintain training on required technical, quality compliance and safety Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Participate in or initiate projects that improve process efficiency or reduce operating cost.
• Follow Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) guidelines and report unsafe conditions, injuries or hazardous releases.
• Handle chemicals safely and manage waste disposal.
• Support implementation of the Data Integrity (DI) program for the site.

Required profile

• Diploma in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, production operations, GMP/GDP manufacturing or related sectors.
• Ability to lift loads up to 25‑30 kg.
• Forklift licence is an advantage.
