Vice President, Franchise Innovation

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Vice President to lead Franchise Innovation across the Asia Pacific region. The role focuses on creating new business models and technologies that expand Mastercard’s franchise offerings, including push‑based payments, digital assets, and open banking solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Create and deliver corporate strategies for innovative solutions such as digital assets, crypto, and account‑based payments.
• Provide thought leadership to enable new growth opportunities and accelerate internal decision‑making for rule development.
• Develop concepts that expand the franchise while protecting Mastercard’s assets and brand integrity.
• Monitor market trends, assess impact on licenses, compliance, and systems, and guide new product direction.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align standards and requirements for franchise growth.

Required profile

• Extensive knowledge of payments, account‑based payments, crypto, or open banking.
• Strong business acumen, attention to detail, and solutions‑orientation.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build compelling presentations.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally and across regions, with periodic travel required.
