Vice President, Insurer Consulting Group

About the role

Marsh Risk is looking for a Vice President to join its Insurer Consulting Group (ICG) in Singapore. This hybrid role requires at least three days a week in the office and offers a high degree of autonomy working with insurance carriers across Asia.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and expand a book of business while supporting senior colleagues on large or complex accounts.
• Collaborate with senior colleagues and project specialists to identify decision makers, account needs, risks and growth opportunities.
• Conduct research and analysis to identify target buyer hubs, expansion opportunities, internal offerings and market trends.
• Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to create viable proposals and bespoke consulting solutions.
• Assist in developing and presenting custom solutions for complex account needs to senior colleagues, insurer clients and prospects.
• Ensure managed accounts are in good standing, address escalated issues promptly and deliver on annual targets.

Required profile

• Degree holder with at least 8 years of relevant experience in the commercial insurance industry in Asia.
• Strong commercial acumen and proven ability to manage and grow a book of business.
• Excellent communication and engagement skills, comfortable dealing with stakeholders up to C‑level.
• Sound judgment in prioritising work, escalating issues and formulating solutions.
• Effective organisation and consulting skills with attention to detail and high‑quality documentation.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
• Strong analytical problem‑solving skills and experience using data to improve performance.
