Warehouse Customer Service Representative

About the role

The Warehouse Customer Service Representative acts as the main point of contact for customers, fulfilling orders and liaising with the warehouse so that shipments are processed on time and accurately. Candidates must be analytical and customer service oriented. The position is permanent.

Key responsibilities

• Support customer KPIs through high-quality customer service and effective communication with clients, warehouse operations, carrier brokers and other facilities.
• Follow up on customer inquiries and provide information on services, products and order processing.
• Create orders and manage customer accounts in SAP/WMS, and handle backorders and returns.
• Coordinate with the warehouse team: verify receiving documentation, process orders accurately and on time, and ensure shipping documents are provided correctly and on schedule.
• Manage complaints and returns, process authorized inventory adjustments, and move client inventory in and out of the facility.
• Handle filing, reporting, and documentation of shipping errors; document and resolve customer concerns promptly.
• Comply with standard operating procedures and warehouse health and safety guidelines.

Required profile

• 3-4 years of contract logistics, 3PL or healthcare experience, or 2-3 years of customer-service experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational and time-management skills, able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of WMS or SAP and MS Office.
• Proficiency in computer use and working knowledge of order entry and warehouse management systems.
