Warehouse Customer Service Representative

About the role

UPS is looking for a Warehouse Customer Service Representative who acts as the main point of contact for customers to fulfill orders and liaise with the warehouse so that shipments are processed on time and accurately. Candidates must be analytical and customer service oriented. The position is permanent.

Key responsibilities

• Support customer KPIs through high-quality customer service and effective communication with clients, warehouse operations, carrier brokers and other facilities.
• Follow up on customer inquiries and provide information on services, products and order processing.
• Create orders and manage customer accounts in SAP/WMS, and handle backorders and returns.
• Coordinate with the warehouse team: verify receiving documentation, process orders accurately and on time, and ensure shipping documents are provided accurately and on time.
• Manage complaints and returns, and process authorized inventory adjustments to protect inventory integrity.
• Record all inventory movements in and out of the facility, file and report, and document and resolve customer concerns promptly.
• Record shipping errors accurately and follow standard operating procedures and warehouse health and safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• 3-4 years of contract logistics/3PL/healthcare experience, or 2-3 years of customer-service experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational and time-management skills, able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of WMS or SAP and MS Office.
• Proficiency in computer use and working knowledge of order entry and warehouse management systems.
