Warehouse Dispatcher – Logistics Operations

About the role

The Warehouse Dispatcher coordinates customer pickups, ensuring that shipments are assigned to the right drivers and delivered on time. This on‑site position supports UPS’s logistics network in Singapore, handling both routine and urgent dispatches.

Key responsibilities

• Assign pickups to drivers based on routes, using automated tools to meet timeliness targets.
• Communicate with customers about any delays or changes to pickup requests.
• Distribute devices to drivers and resolve simple technical issues.
• Coordinate palletized shipment collections and send daily pre‑alert emails for export shipments.
• Follow up on missed pickups, supporting the Customer Experience Coordinator.
• Assist with package location, delivery, supply requests, driver follow‑up, delivery changes, and undelivered package inquiries via email or phone.

Required profile

• Familiarity with Singapore roads and geographic areas.
• Understanding of UPS operational plans, processes, and operating hours.
• Ability to read and use dispatch systems after training.
• Strong teamwork and customer‑service orientation.
• Capability to perform light physical tasks.
