Warehouse Material Handler - Team Lead

About the role

Hitachi Digital, a division of Hitachi Group focused on digital transformation, is hiring a Warehouse Material Handler Team Lead in Singapore. The role covers the day-to-day warehouse functions and supervises the team, with a focus on inventory control, ISO-compliant operations and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily receiving, sorting, picking, packing and shipping processes
• Track stock levels, carry out cycle counts and resolve inventory discrepancies
• Ensure warehouse operations comply with ISO 9001 requirements and keep records in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
• Enforce workplace safety and health regulations, inspect equipment and keep the workspace clean
• Carry out any other tasks assigned by management

Required profile

• Diploma in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field
• 3 to 5 years of supervisory experience in warehouse, logistics or supply chain operations
• Valid Singapore forklift operating licence issued by a MOM-accredited training provider
• BizSAFE Level 2 Risk Management certification
• Hands-on experience in inventory management, warehouse processes and material handling

Required skills

• Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills
• Practical application of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
• Proficiency in WMS and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); Oracle ERP is an advantage
• Reach truck, stock picker and forklift operation
