Warehouse Senior Assistant

About the role

Chanel is hiring a Warehouse Senior Assistant for its Distribution Center team in Singapore. You will support safe, accurate and efficient warehouse operations across divisions and floor levels, reporting to the Warehouse Senior Associate. The role covers the full range of warehouse activities, initial checks on discrepancies, basic administration and mentoring less-experienced assistants.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out receiving, inspection, storage, transfer and labelling of goods to keep inventory control accurate
• Check quantities and quality on receipt and before delivery, including picking and packing
• Identify stock or operational discrepancies, check them initially and escalate issues clearly to the Warehouse Senior Associate
• Run scheduled weekly, bi-weekly or monthly physical cycle counts
• Support assigned tasks and rotate across divisions or floor levels each shift as directed by the manager
• Complete simple administrative tasks such as updating Excel sheets and sending emails
• Mentor less-experienced assistants on procedures and system transactions
• Maintain a clean, safe workplace and comply with safety and health requirements
• Share operational feedback and support process improvements, and help supervisors with ad hoc tasks

Required profile

• N or O Level qualification or higher, preferably in logistics or a related field
• At least five years of relevant experience in a logistics or warehouse environment
• Positive, collaborative attitude and the confidence to guide less-experienced colleagues
• Ability to prioritise, take initiative, manage pressure and work independently

Required skills

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and email
• Spoken and written English
