Zone Category Manager (Team Sports)

About the role

Decathlon Singapore is looking for a Zone Category Manager for Team Sports. The role develops the turnover and profitability of ranges and services while respecting the CO2 trajectory, defines the strategy for bringing products to market, sets the assortments and coordinates them to offer a unique customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse external market trends, customer behaviour and competitor activity, and define the zone's market needs and conquest strategies
• Build and validate omnichannel Y+3 commercialisation strategies and a sustainable category business plan Y+1/Y+3 with supply, digital, sport and retail teams
• Select the best offer from the Worldwide catalog, including Other International Brands, and build the price scale and recommended retail prices
• Ensure product compliance with local conformity requirements outside Europe and present the Y+1 catalog to the zone countries, supporting local adaptations
• Monitor offer performance, run range and product diagnostics, and take decisions on commercial TOP/FLOP with the project team
• Take part in quarterly business reviews and share good practices with other zones

Required profile

• Market knowledge, business management and sustainability awareness
• Ability to analyse assortment performance and digital commerce performance
• Strategic sense, decision making, critical thinking and emotional intelligence
• Strong collaboration, listening and persuasive communication skills
