Academic Tutor

About the role

Elevate Learning Academy is seeking a full‑time Academic Tutor to join its on‑site team in Singapore. You will deliver engaging Math and Science lessons to secondary school, Integrated Programme (IP) and Junior College (JC) students, helping them build strong foundations and confidence for exams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver personalized Math and Science lessons for individual or small‑group sessions.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Develop structured curricula and tailor learning materials to meet each student’s needs.
• Foster a supportive and encouraging learning environment.
• Collaborate with fellow tutors to share best practices and improve teaching strategies.

Required profile

• Proficiency in Mathematics and solid understanding of secondary and junior college level Science topics.
• Experience in private tutoring or classroom settings, with the ability to adapt methods to diverse learners.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective interaction with students, peers, and parents.
• Passion for education and a commitment to student growth and confidence.
• Teaching certification, a degree in Education, or relevant subject‑matter expertise is an advantage.
• Willingness to work on‑site at Elevate Learning Academy locations across Singapore.
