Account Executive, Financial Services

About the role

AlphaSense, an AI platform for market intelligence and workflow orchestration, is looking for a new business sales professional to join its expanding Financial Services Sales team, focused on the Financial Markets segment. The team partners with hedge funds, asset managers, investment banks and private equity firms, engaging professionals from junior analysts to directors of research. The role leads new business growth within your territory.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end sales process within your territory, covering hedge funds, asset managers, investment banks and sell-side research teams.
• Partner with Sales Development Representatives to research, prospect and build new relationships through consultative selling.
• Deliver product demonstrations that match client needs with AlphaSense's value proposition.
• Manage product trials with Product Specialists to ensure adoption and conversion.
• Maintain a strong pipeline and forecast accurately to meet or exceed sales targets.
• Share customer feedback to help shape product and go-to-market strategy.

Required profile

• 3+ years of SaaS sales experience, ideally selling into Financial Services.
• Proven track record of exceeding quota in a hunter/new-logo role, with value-based, consultative selling.
• Comfortable with demos, trials and full-cycle sales using modern sales tools.
• Ability to explain complex AI-driven solutions clearly to varied audiences.
• Understanding of buy- and sell-side workflows and market dynamics.
• Regional language skills are a plus for covering APAC accounts.
