Account Manager (SG / KR)

About the role

Rakuten Advertising, part of Rakuten Asia Pte. Ltd. in Singapore's Central Business District, is looking for an Account Manager based in Singapore or Korea. You will manage a portfolio of clients, act as their client liaison during service engagements and outsourced solutions, and keep client satisfaction high through consistent, proactive communication. You will also take ownership of the affiliate programs for your key accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate complex client interactions, respond promptly and resolve moderately challenging requests.
• Analyze client feedback and data to spot trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Develop tailored client engagement plans aligned with business objectives.
• Implement client management best practices and document interactions in CRM systems.
• Evaluate and recommend improvements to client relationship strategies.
• Take the lead on affiliate program strategies for priority clients, plan and run campaigns with affiliate publishers, and forecast revenue for your portfolio.
• Maintain regular contact with key contacts, agree milestones and align goals with clients.
• Identify new business opportunities, such as entering new markets or upgrading service levels.

Required profile

• Minimum 2-3 years of account management experience (client-facing).
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Japanese (JPLT N1 / business level) or Korean (business level) is highly advantageous.
• Preferred: performance marketing and affiliate marketing experience, understanding of performance marketing tracking, Asia cross-border e-commerce or travel industry experience, and a history of strong client relationships built on trust, advice and upselling.
