Accountant – Senior Executive / Assistant Manager

About the role

We are looking for a meticulous Accountant who will oversee the company’s financial operations, ensure accurate reporting, and support strategic planning. The role combines hands‑on accounting tasks with leadership of junior staff in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries, transactions and reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
• Manage full sets of accounts, including sales, purchases, AR/AP ageing, fixed assets, lease schedules and accruals.
• Support intercompany transactions, reconciliations and financial analysis.
• Conduct cash‑flow management and monitor liquidity positions.
• Guide Accounts Executives to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
• Assist in preparing monthly consolidated financial statements and management reports.
• Coordinate documentation for group audits, statutory audits and valuation processes.
• Ensure compliance with IFRS, SFRS, tax regulations and internal policies.
• Identify financial and compliance risks and recommend internal‑control improvements.
• Drive process improvements and finance‑system enhancement initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree or professional qualification in Accountancy, Finance or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of experience in consolidation and financial reporting, preferably in listed companies or group structures.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
• Excellent attention to detail, proactive attitude and ability to work under pressure.
• Strong teamwork, communication and organisational skills.
