AI Research Scientist – Enterprise AI

About the role

Salesforce AI Research Labs is seeking entrepreneurial research scientists to build, ship, and scale the next generation of Enterprise AI. You will work like a founder, identifying high‑impact research directions, prototyping cutting‑edge AI capabilities, and turning the strongest concepts into production‑ready solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Own and pursue ambitious, long‑term research goals that address real‑world, large‑scale problems.
• Develop and prototype zero‑to‑one AI products, validate ideas with customers, and bring solutions to market in partnership with product, engineering, and go‑to‑market teams.
• Lead cross‑functional teams as needed to deliver complex pure and applied research projects.

Required profile

• Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, or a related technical field.
• Publication record in top AI venues such as NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, ACL, CVPR, etc.
• Proven ability to implement, operate, and deliver large‑scale AI innovations and translate independent research into impactful systems.

Required skills

• Programming in Python and C/C++.
• Experience with deep‑learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, JAX, and PyTorch.
• Building and applying large language models and other state‑of‑the‑art deep‑learning techniques.
