Analog Design Intern (ComPHY) - Master's Degree

About the role

Marvell is recruiting an Analog/Mixed-Signal IC Design Intern in its ComPHY team, within the Central Engineering business group. The intern plays a key role in developing advanced CMOS transceiver and SerDes, D2D and DDR products, working on a small analog team with the chance to learn several aspects of engineering while diving deep into their specialization.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret circuit specifications and system-level requirements.
• Help design and implement high-performance analog and mixed-signal circuits, including PLLs, DLLs, ADCs, voltage regulators, amplifiers, transmitters (TX), receivers (RX) and clock/data recovery (CDR) circuits.
• Run detailed circuit-level simulations and design verification with industry-standard EDA tools to ensure functionality, performance and robustness.
• Work with digital design, layout and validation teams to ensure seamless integration and successful tape-out.
• Take part in design reviews, maintain documentation and contribute to improving design methodologies and flows.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, IC Design or a similar field.
• Understanding of analog circuit fundamentals and semiconductor device physics.
• Highly motivated, self-driven, curious and eager to learn.
• Strong team player with solid communication skills.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of IC design CAD tools such as Spectre and SPICE.
• Familiarity with MATLAB and Python.
