APAC Brokerage Customer Data Analytics Specialist (BA Agent)

About the role

The APAC Brokerage Customer Data Analytics Specialist acts as the Brokerage Assist Agent (BA Agent) and drives successful customer implementation and long-term relationships. The BA Agent ensures a smooth, proactive onboarding experience for new customers by enabling customer readiness, validating brokerage setup and setting up shipment monitoring and exception management. The role works closely with Account Executives, Origin and Destination Brokerage teams and customers, identifying and resolving customs clearance risks.

Key responsibilities

• Customer enrolment and profile setup: review and confirm enrolment requests, validate customer information and documents, gather required documents for export/import profiles, and create and maintain customer profiles including Customer Handling Notes (CHNs).
• Welcome call and shipment monitoring: run welcome calls introducing the Onboard Assist program, guide customers on proactive shipment alerts for the first three shipments, monitor those shipments for holds or customs issues and collaborate with Brokerage teams to resolve delays.
• Proactive customer support: identify documentation gaps, guide customers and origin/destination brokers on corrective actions, communicate potential customs issues and costs, and keep a detailed log of actions taken.
• Process improvement and reporting: automate and streamline onboarding with Microsoft tools, and build dashboards for management reporting.
• Enterprise account support: partner with Enterprise Sales and Solutions to propose brokerage solutions, analyse complex scenarios such as multiple trade lanes and commodities, and recommend best practices.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Business, Customs Brokerage, Logistics and Supply Chain or a related field.
• Understanding of cross-border customs brokerage compliance and experience in brokerage operations.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple priorities.
• Meticulous, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and experience in remote, cross-functional environments.
