Architectural Coordinator – Technical Designer

About the role

This full‑time Technical Designer/Coordinator position is based in Singapore. You will produce and manage your own technical drawing sets while supporting senior architects on complex deliverables, ensuring accurate, coordinated documentation ready for authority submissions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage comprehensive architectural drawings for technical coordination and authority submissions, including under the new Regulatory Approval of Building Works (RABW) process.
• Coordinate technical drawings with engineers and other consultants to ensure cross‑discipline consistency and accuracy.
• Assist with site supervision, verifying that works on site are carried out in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
• Manage drawing registers, revisions, and submission records with rigour and consistency.
• Ensure all documentation meets Singapore building codes, regulations, and authority requirements.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of drawing standards, templates, and BIM workflows within the practice.

Required profile

• Diploma in Architecture, Design, or a related field from a recognised Polytechnic (or equivalent).
• At least 3 to 4 years of hands‑on experience in architectural draughting and technical drawing production.
• Proven experience preparing architectural drawings for authority submissions and technical coordination.
• Familiarity with the new Regulatory Approval process for Building Works (RABW) Corenet X and the existing Corenet 2.0 process.
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage multiple drawing sets and meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Working knowledge of Revit and BIM workflows.
• Proficiency in SketchUp for 3D visualisation.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Suite.
• Good understanding of Singapore building codes and regulations.
