Asset & Portfolio Management, Asia Pacific Implementation Lead (Fixed Term)
jll · Singapore
Job description
About the role
LaSalle Investment Management, the investment division of JLL, is redesigning the operating model of its Asset & Portfolio Management (A&PM) teams through a global transformation programme. Singapore is a key regional hub alongside Tokyo, and this fixed-term, on-site role provides dedicated, on-the-ground programme capacity for Asia Pacific. It is a hands-on project and change role, working day-to-day with the Europe-based programme team while maintaining a dotted-line relationship to the Regional COO & GC, Asia Pacific.
Key responsibilities
- Due diligence and process re-engineering: support regional due diligence on centralisation candidates, facilitate process mapping and decision-gate workshops using the five-lens framework, and document current-state processes to help design future-state ones.
- Implementation and transition: help build a regional implementation plan, support the IMS and JBS (offshore) transition, track progress and risks, and support recruitment and onboarding of new hub resources in Singapore and Tokyo.
- Change management: act as the primary on-the-ground change contact, run local briefings, workshops and Q&A sessions, identify pockets of resistance early, and support the regional change network.
- Project management: maintain regional project plans, RAID logs and status reports, prepare materials for steering committee updates, and escalate risks and resourcing gaps to the global programme team.
- Stakeholder engagement: build relationships with local A&PM teams and functional leaders, and represent the region's perspective within the central programme team.
Required profile
- 8+ years' experience in project management, business transformation, process improvement or organisational change, ideally in-house or with a top-tier consulting firm.
- Prior experience supporting operating model change, offshoring/centralisation or shared-services transitions is highly desirable.
- Track record of working independently as the only team member on the ground for a geographically distributed programme.
- Exposure to financial services, asset/investment management or real estate is an advantage but not essential.
Required skills
- Process mapping, documentation and redesign, and project management (planning, RAID management, reporting).
- Facilitation of workshops and stakeholder communication.
- Cultural fluency across Asia Pacific, with knowledge of Singapore and neighbouring markets such as Japan and India, is beneficial.
