Assistant Cook – Full‑Time Kitchen Support

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Cook to support our kitchen operations across Singapore. The role involves maintaining a clean and organized workspace, assisting the Cook with food preparation, and ensuring smooth daily service. This is a full‑time, on‑site position.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Cook with food preparation tasks such as cleaning, cutting, chopping and peeling ingredients.
• Clean and sanitise food preparation areas in line with hygiene and safety standards.
• Wash, disinfect and store cooking utensils, equipment and kitchenware.
• Buy, weigh, receive and store ingredients and food supplies.
• Operate kitchen appliances and tools including mixers, ovens, knives and cutters.
• Manage inventory, unload supplies and organise the storeroom.
• Maintain clean work areas, utensils and equipment throughout the shift.
• Contribute to menu development and improvisation of existing dishes.
• Monitor kitchen expenses, food costs and staffing within budgetary limits.

Required profile

• Ability to prepare North Indian cuisine.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts.
• Attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards.

Required skills

• Food preparation techniques (cutting, chopping, peeling).
• Operation of kitchen appliances (mixers, ovens, cutters, knives).
• Inventory management and stock handling.
• Food cost control and budgeting.
